Thai Airways Experience on the Ground – Lounges

Posted by on May 5, 2019

Thai Airways has always been committed to delivering the very best flight experience, conveying its millions of passengers between global cities safely and in comfort. But for them, it is more than just a flight. It’s a journey that starts on the ground. From delivering a professional and efficient check in, to enhancing the travelers stay at their destination, the airline’s commitment is undeniable.

For travelers, the journey is often looked upon as a tedious and unenviable necessity, but Thai Airways takes a refreshingly progressive approach to the passenger’s entire journey. The journey begins at Thai Airways passenger check in. Conducted with a smile and professional efficiency, passengers are soon on their way to the departure lounge.

The departure lounge is often considered by passengers as a less than enjoyable part of their journey. Departure halls are usually hectic, and are unlikely to be a peaceful and relaxing part of the journey. Thai Airways realize this, and as usual they go that extra mile in their quest to offer the ultimate in passenger care and comfort.

Thai Airways has its own designated lounges, exclusively for their passengers and its partner, Star Alliance. At airports across Thailand and selected international airports around the world, travelers can enjoy privileged use of their exclusively appointed lounges.

For Domestic Flights, Passengers Can Enjoy the Use of Thai Airways Lounges

Thai Airways Royal Silk Lounges for domestic flights are available at 5 airports across Thailand, Suvarnabhumi, Chiang Mai, Hat Yai, Krabi and Phuket

Passengers on domestic Thai Airways flights from these airports can access their Royal Silk Lounges. At Suvarnabhumi airport the lounge can be found in concourse A on level 2. In Chiang Mai the lounge is opposite Gate 8. At Hat Yai it is on the 2nd floor, at Krabi the 3rd floor and at Phuket airport it is on the 4th floor.

The lounges are tastefully furnished and decorated with passenger comfort in mind. There is comfortable seating in all lounges, and at Suvarnabhumi there are also 3 VIP lounges. All Thai Airways lounges have clean, modern bathroom facilities with full wheelchair access.

Travelers can keep in touch with friends and family, or continue doing business with fast, efficient free Wi-Fi. With snacks and drinks available from the refreshment bars, a Royall Silk Lounge is the perfect stress-free experience prior to flying.
