It doesn’t come as a surprise that the city has remained many travellers’ favorite. There is just so much to see and do in London that it’s easy to get overwhelmed. The Buckingham Palace and the Tower of London are in most visitors’ itineraries. The National Gallery, Tate Modern and Cabinet War Room are also getting more visitors lately.
Dramatic windswept hills and rich history – these are just some of the things that make Edinburgh a city to remember. The world-famous Edinburgh Castle, St. Giles Cathedral, the Museum of Scotland, Real Mary King’s Close are equally interesting. A visit to the city during Hogmanay will treat visitors to a days-long new year celebration of food, drink and rich local traditions.
While the city has been historically tied to its shipping industry, visitors are flocking to Liverpool for another reason – The Beatles. You can relieve the hysteria with a visit at The Beatles Story Experience and drop by Paul’s childhood home.
Now, this might not sound familiar, but if you are interested, take a walk or tram to the Great Orme and you’ll be rewarded with a splendid view of Wales’ popular seaside resort – Llandudno. On your way up, make sure to stop by at the Great Orme Copper Mine and be fascinated by how copper was mined thousands of years ago.
