Travelling by express train to the airport
The Heathrow Express train is the quickest way to travel from central London (Paddington ) to Heathrow Airport. Trains run every 15 minutes and the journey takes just 15 minutes. Their trains are of the latest technology and there is WI FI available. Doing the same route in a taxi will cost you four times as much and it takes 1 hour and 15 minutes.

You can purchase your tickets online or at the train station. Prices vary greatly depending on :
- The date and time of travel
- The distance
- The advance option that you buy your ticket
- The train company
The train ticket is cheaper if you buy it well in advance or if you buy a ticket that does not support return. It is also cheaper to travel outside rush hour (from 05:00 to 10: 00 and 15:00 to 20:00 Monday to Friday).
