Sleep in a castle in Tuscany: Montegufoni

One of the attractions of the Castle is the Hall of Masks by Gino Severini, a masterpiece that was commissioned in 1921 by the noble English writer Sir George Sitwell, then owner of Montegufoni, who wanted to make a fresco of the castle. The choice of the painter, in spite of the children suggests it their friend Picasso, fell on Gino Severini, the Tuscan artist Sir. Sitwell had met in Paris, the city where the artist had moved in 1906 and where he had joined the Futurist movement.
