1. Balos beach in Crete island
Balos beach in Chania Crete is a raw beauty at its finest. The soft and white sand is complemented with beautiful blue waters. It is bordered by mountains and small islands. The castle in the nearby island called Gramvousa adds to the charm of the area. This spot is normally a stopover for a lot of cruise ships. You can access Balos only by cruise boats or by walking a long distance. There are cruise boats every day and the price is affordable. The greatest thing about Balos is that the sand has an amazing pink color.
