Summer is all about relaxing and enjoying the sun in wonderful beaches. Surely there are many exotic, crystal clear beaches around the world but some of them combine all this along with magical color combinations! Forget the classic bright blue beaches and sugary sand. We took a look around the planet and found the most colorful beaches. Pink, green, orange or even black, discover them below.
Wai’anapanapa State Park, Maui, Hawaii
The blackest beach in the world. The color derives from the lava and the activity of volcanoes that are active in this location. The beauty is made even more impressive by the dense vegetation that in some parts reaches up to the waves.
Wai’anapanapa State Park
Rainbow Beach, Fraser Island, Australia
In the sand are captured more than 70 different colors. This is due to the corrosion of the rocks, combined with the colorants that eliminate the plants of the region. The area around this belongs in an environmental park that bears its name, and is certainly the most famous beach of the island Fraser.
Papakōlea Beach, South Point, Hawaii
It is known as the Green Beach or Mahana. Of course, the name has been won by the odd color of the sand which is actually a greenish color. It is one of only two in the world with this shade, the other is in the Galapagos Islands.
Pink Sands, Harbour Island
The surface of the Harbour island is not more than three miles in length and one mile in width. The soft pink beaches derives from the combination of white sand and from a one celled red shell marine organism.
Hyams Beach, Jervis Bay, Australia
It may not be colorful but it is the beach with the most white sand of the world according to the Guinness Book of Records. Locals say that sunlight acquires with such strength that it can blind you or drive you crazy with the purity of this location.
