Tenerife is the most known of the Canarias islands. The perfect climate of this “eternal spring ” island comes from Africa, as well as its characteristic color of the sky, a warm grey in contrast with the orange hills. We can find here that this city is divided in two sides: the North hosts the city lifestyle, with schools, cinemas, shops and factories, meanwhile the South is entirely dedicated to pamper the tourists with incredibly soft beaches, clean avenues with strong palmtrees and all kind of varieties of restaurants with local food.
Nevertheless, Tenerife is not another island more given to the mass tourism. The nature and the environment here are venerated in Spain as a national but unknown treasure. It is possible to see several species of birds from the top of Teide, the highest volcano in Spain; also, not far from here, we have the Drago Milenario, an unique tree of an unique specie with more than a thousand years of antiquity. The fauna and flora are special here, with certain spots belonging to an ancestral culture not discovered yet.
To sum up, there is no good island without nightlife! Tenerife has some interesting bars all around, but the real young night is located in the campus La Laguna. Hot music, dance floors or refreshing cocktails will complete this Spanish magic night of summer.
