The historical and natural beauty of Rügen island in Germany

Here is a little of what is known about that large island in the Baltic Sea full of history and charm. It is Rügen, a German island once the territory of the GDR connected to the coast of Mecklenburg and Vorpommern by a bridge from the city of Stralsund.

The island of Rügen has a history of a fashionable resort due to the irresistible Nordic beauty with rugged coastline and windswept coasts particularly beautiful and chalky (ie white) on the coast to Jasmund which is also a national park. In such amazing places vacationers find themselves all you can do is admire in awe the elegant homes and hotels decoration on the facade and balconies.

It is an excellent place to take a beach vacation in Germany or to go to find out how historically the Germans spent their summers. A large number of hotels that are still here today and are not so difficult to access. To get to this area you can travel with Autozug to Hamburg and then follow the road along the coast and in a short time you’ll be at your destination.
