Are you leaving for the day that you will opt for for day trip from Paris? If you spend the last night in the cabaret you may end up totally out of budget considered at least € 250 for dinner. As known, Paris is the most stylish city in Europe and quite expensive so here are a few tips for December 31 recommended by those who live there in the transalpine capital.
Paris la Nuit
From the Champs-Elysées to the Champ-de-Mars in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower: the appointment is for the last night of the year. The play of light in the tower greets the arrival of 2013. The advice is to move on time taking in the area before dinner to avoid getting stuck in queues and crowds of people. Remember that the central metro stations will be closed at least a couple of hours before midnight only to reopen in the new year. The Trocadero is the best stage for the big fireworks show that will be staged. We must not forget the Sacre-Coeur in Montmartre: poetry and a bit more peace of mind for the most charming district of Paris.
Three names are well known among the locals even if the prices are certainly not low cost: Showcase disco and house, 30 Euros to enter, or 60 for input and four drinks. It continues with the Wagg: electronic music at 45 € (entrance, cloakroom and two drinks). In addition here’s something different at Regine’s dancing in masks, Venetian carnival style with music from the 80s and 90s. Cost? 50 euro for open bar and two drinks.
Happy New Year from Paris
While we’re on the days before or after the last night of the year don’t forget the Paris Museum Pass. It is a voucher that allows entry to the main tourist attractions including over sixty museums and monuments. Skipping the long lines that are mostly present in this period it costs 39 euro for the two days pass, 54 and 69 for the four and six days one. They can be purchased on the official website or in museums or at the airport.
