Knowing the Side Effects of Going to Hawaii

Hawaii is known as a tropical paradise the world over. What most people don’t know, however, is that going there is either a vacation of your dreams or a nightmare. Why?

You’ll never want to go home ever

Can you dare walk away from sunny smiles, warm hugs and soft, sandy beaches? With an abundance of beaches, active volcanoes and oceanic surroundings, there will never be a dull moment when in Hawaii. Add to this the warm tropical climate, which is a whole lot better than the fall and winter season you experience back home, you’d be more than willing to forget where you live.

If you do go home, left without a choice, you’ll never look at it the same way again.

You’ll never look at work the same way again

It’s going to break your heart to go back to the office and be confined within its dark and drab walls. You probably won’t have any work done either, since all you’ll think about is the fun you had, the vistas you enjoyed and all the surfers, beach bums and really cool people that you met. If not for the need to pay the bills, you’d live in Hawaii.

You’re going to alienate a lot of people

The moment you get back, you’ll talk endlessly about your trip, and everyone would be eager to listen. But six months after your vacation and you’re still talking about your magical experience, people would rather shoot themselves than listen to you. You’d also develop the uncanny ability to squeeze in your Hawaii trip in any conversation and with any topic. People won’t even realize how the conversation ended up about you and your Hawaiian vacation.

Worse, you will become a completely different person when you return home. You either become miserable or annoying. So before you head out to Hawaii, be prepared for what the tropical paradise can do to you.
