We had left the Avenue Verte, the system of cycle routes linking Paris with London shortly before its inauguration. After a season of cycling and even if now is not the ideal time to get into the saddle it’s time to look closely at what’s on site for those who want to start planning the next one.

For example you can also select individual routes, possibly detachable from the rest of the way. This is done directly from the home page of the site with a special menu that is on the right. Interestingly that can be sorted by level or type.

Apart from this there are also small packages called weekend ideas lasting two days and may be combined with the train. All will depart from Paris and the stages are quite affordable as far as length and difficulty goes. For example the shortest for a total of 52 kilometers in two days is the transfer by train to Conflans then cycle to Anvers or Oise the day after to Asnières, Chantilly and then return by train to Paris.

Then for those looking for something a little less adventurous, at least in the planning stages of the nights, you can signal a proposed itinerary organized by Girolibero. You can follow either London to Paris or Paris to London which includes just the nights with breakfast, the crossing of the Channel by ferry and assistance all the way. On their website there are already possible departures for 2013.
