It has been many years since my last trip to Vienna and that was one of the destinations that I first visited when I started traveling in Europe. My image of Vienna is associated with a beautiful, clean, tidy city with great palaces and a lot of classical music. However the promotional campaign during these weeks is conducting Vienna City is certainly an invitation to rediscover the Austrian capital. Under the slogan Vienna sounds good, the image is associated with the music but the music is much closer to modern music as is the Galician artist Ivan Ferreiro former singer and songwriter of The Pirates.

The new video of Ivan has been filmed in Vienna as part of a campaign to promote tourism and it is an improvement from their new album Val Miñor. History and chronology of the world that will be presented at the next October. Through this video we have the opportunity to discover a new image of Vienna as a modern city that combines its historic past with new trends in culture and leisure. Thus, in the video Ivan Ferreiro takes a tour of the new Vienna experiential while presenting two new songs included in the album. One concerns pursuing ones soul until the end of eternity.

From the trendy boutiques, Ivan discovers the Amaro Museum Quarter where you find a combination of art, cuisine and architecture, both baroque and modern. Plus there is no shortage of shops with existing brands. Other locations used for the realization of the video were the terrace of the Natural History Museum and shopping areas in the 7th district. That, if on a visit to Vienna we cannot miss the giant Prater Ferris wheel or a boat trip on the Danube River, scenarios that Ivan Ferreiro also shows.

From the gastronomic point of view, restaurants are leading to the Palm House, the Halle or beisl Glacis and not missing an enclave that is more traditional as is the historic Café Central. Another enclave of most current Vienna is the club beach bar Strandbar Herrmann on the banks of the Danube which is the concert stage during which Ivan interprets his two new items. In short the video is a combination of contemporary music with the new image of Vienna. Without doubt, I have to go back to discover it.
